On 27 December, 2004 the applications for the second round of information grant competition were reviewed by the Expert Committee of "Path to Success!" Program, Winrock International. Grant applications were received from NGOs of Khavarovskii Krai, Primorskii Krai, Sakhalinskaya Oblast and Amurskaya Oblast.
On 17 December, 2004 the trainer Irina Belotserkovets with the help of Elena Novickova conducted the training "Family values for me and for the community" for 10-B class pupils of the lyceum-hostel for talented children "Burevestnik", Vladivostok.
On 16 December 2004 the head of educational work and the geography teacher Yuliya Plastinina together with other participants of the project "Time for changes" organized the conference for parents "Socialization and education of teenagers" at school #11 in Blagoveschensk.
On 10-11 December, 2004 Elena Gubina, the trainer from Khabarovsk Social-Psychological Center, who works on "Path to Success!" Program, Winrock International conducted the training "Effective job placement" in Far Eastern Technical School of Geodesy and Cartography.
On 9-10 December, 2004 the training on personal growth was held in the Industrial-Economic College in Khabarovsk.
From 25 November till 10 December, 2004 all partners of "Path to Success!" Program, Winrock International took part in the international action "16 days against gender violence".
On 1 December, 2004 the seminar-training for the teachers on "The challenges of healthy lifestyle promotion among young people" was held in "Doverie" Center in the framework of the international action "16 days against gender violence".
On 17-19 November, 2004 the first Russian Scientifically-Practical Conference on "Working with the youth in Russia and abroad: theory and practice dialogue" was held in Moscow. Larisa Fokina, "Path to Success!" Program Regional Coordinator in Amurskaya Oblast took part in the Conference.
On 11 November, 2004 a round table was organized in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The discussion was devoted to the problem of human trafficking in the city and Khabarovskii Krai and ways of cooperation among public organizations and NGOs.
In August 2004, seven grant agreements were signed with NGOs from Khabarovsk and Primorskiy Krai and Amurskaya Oblast under the "Path to Success!" program that is administered by Winrock International and sponsored by USAID. The project aims to form positive values and educate young people on positive life skills and human rights.
On July 26-30, 2004 Winrock International with the support of USAID held a Training of Trainers within the framework of "Path to Success!" Program in Sosnovka, Khabarovsk.
"Path to Success!" Program activity raised interest among visitors of the Festival of International Partnership held on July 13 in Khabarovsk "Platinum Arena" Ice Palace.
On July 12, 2004 "Path to Success!" Program employees took part in the meeting of donor organizations working in the Russian Far East.
On June 28, 2004 "Path to Success!" Program Expert Committee viewed applications received from noncommercial organizations of Khabarovsk and Primorskiy Krai and Amurskaya Oblast that applied for the educational direction grant competition.
In June 2004 six grant agreements were signed with NGO’s from Khabarovsk and Primorskiy Krai and Amurskaya Oblast under the "Path to Success!" Program that is administrated by Winrock International and sponsored by USAID. The work is aimed at information and educational public activity.
In May 2004 Michael Johannes took the post of the Director of the "Path to Success!" Program, Winrock International.
